DANNY FOSTER

Danny Foster is a prolific and respected DJ. His career spans over the past 20 years. He is an accomplished Producer/Songwriter and Re-mixer, Label Manager and Radio Presenter. Danny got his first big break in 1992 as resident for ‘Release The Pressure’ at Café de Paris (London). In 1993 Danny joined leading dance station London Underground 89.4FM were he got great exposure until 1996 when he moved to Kiss FM for a number of one off shows. Since the early nineties he has remixed for artists such as Altra Nate, R Kelly and Gloria Gaynor. Danny has been an intrinsic part of the UK house scene from its very own inception.

Danny has enjoyed the success of no. 1 records within the Dance Charts of the UK. Of which, these include ‘You’re No Good’ with Corrine Joesph and ‘Butterflies’ with Vula (Basement Jaxx). His recent smash anthem ‘To Be Real’ featuring Rachel John, found itself propelled to great heights across Europe, reaching high end top 10 status in many countries.

His latest projects see him writing with some of UK’s best talents; these include Vula (Basement Jaxx), Kele La Roc, Bizzi and Corrina Joseph. His soon to be released debut album will include tracks featuring Vula (Basement Jaxx), Kele Le Roc, Dina Vass, Clifton Lovemore, Kate O’Brian, Rachel John and Bizzi.

Danny’s style of house music now ranges from Soulful, Funky to Electro; each of these genres is featured in the forthcoming album release. Studio and production success is fundamentally important to Danny, but the true test of a DJ remains in the clubs. With his versatile DJing skills playing funky UK and US House, Electro and Break Beats. Danny remains a busy DJ, in the UK (Ministry of Sound, Colosseum, Camden Palace, The Aquarium, The Gass Club, Bump and Hussle – Bournemouth, Empire Club – Middlesborough, Kudos and Sunday Lockdown – Birmingham, London Thing – Surrey, and Escape in both Swansea and Cardiff as well as at international clubbing haunts including Miami, Iceland, Ibiza (Space, Pasha, Summun, Bar Mambo), The Greek islands, Tenerife, Switzerland and Northern Ireland

Danny also hosts London’s finest parties in South West London, trading under the name of Ménage A Trois and Love 2 Groove. Such parties are successfully hosted at England’s most glamorous venues. Never failing to please the ever faithful.

Love 2 Groove, Danny’s record label will be launching the first album this year. Currently detailing some 23 tracks that have aroused great excitement and anticipation within the music industries of the US, the UK and across Europe.


This year, Danny will be focussing on providing live PA’s that will provide a full live band. These PA’s will re-produce the nominated tracks in a way that has not been previously enjoyed - another vivid string to his bow. 2008 has already seen Danny Foster remixing for the likes of Barbara Tucker ‘Better’, Chanel ‘Forget About Your Boys’ and Robbie Craig ‘If You Love Her’. The long awaited launch of STUDIO TIME, Danny’s first album on the Love 2 Groove label is now confirmed for the 4th April @ Babalou, Brixton.


Danny has also enjoyed a constant flow of live prime time radio shows, including Time FM, Kiss 100FM, House FM and more recently UnknownFM.net. With interviews aired live on London’s biggest (then) house music radio station Kiss 100 FM

With his infectious high spirit and commitment to the music industry, both in DJing and production, 2007 will see Danny’s success continue to escalate. As an unceasing champion of the British music scene, and indeed of great house music irrespective of origin, it’s no misnomer to class Danny Foster amongst dance music’s real pioneers.

There are very few places you won’t be able to catch Danny this year.
