I’ve been a professional DJ for a very long time (about 15 years) playing in London’s nightclubs, and throughout the UK. Clubs such as London’s Millionaires & Celebrity club Tramp - as resident DJ on Wednesday night. Other venues such as Aquarium Old St, Vauxhall Arches, Scala Kings Cross etc. I’ve also played on a number of radio stations over the years; currently playing on Centreforce 88.4 FM alongside MC Asha Mic, playing the best in ‘The Future of House’ with a little bit of old skool (because management says so!!)

My inspiration to mix started when I was 15 when the Hip Hop scene was prominent. I took note of techniques used by DJs Jazzy Jeff & Eric B. I mastered the art of scratching and playing 2 copies of the same record simultaneously, to cause different effects. I eventually used the same techniques learned whilst mixing Hip Hop with House music - mixing tunes such as the Bee by the Scientist, French Kiss by Lil’ Louis & break beats by Simon Harris & Kenny Dope – which in turn resulted me in gradually building my collection to contain most genres of House music over the years.

My all time favourite producers are MAW, who produced tunes such as ‘Da Bomb’ & ‘I can’t get no sleep’. I touched the jungle & UK Garage scene for a while too, but my real passion was and still is House music. I don’t favour a particular type of House as there are so many different types to choose from. I mainly find the Minimal, Soulful and Tribal house currently reflects my style the most.

I found by actually mixing the records, I wanted to get into the production of music – working on various tunes with different people in numerous studios. This inspired me to get my own software and start producing my own material. The genre of music I make range from Hip hop, Break Beat, R&B & House (Minimal, Soulful, Broken & Tribal Beats). I have also made tunes for a number of Artists, one such as ‘Trouble Shooters’, who are due to release their debut Hip Hop album soon.
