Jo Devious has rapidly made a name for herself, not only as a quality House Music DJ, but also as a respected Promoter.

Having only started spinning in 2001, Jo has already had extensive and varied experience in rocking dancefloors across the UK, and has covered all the major London clubs, including Ministry of Sound, The Cross, The Egg, Turnmills, Sin, Hidden, Aquarium, The Telegraph and Blend (to name but a few!)) and is also a resident DJ for several promotions, including Fordshouse (BIG, Carry on Sundays, Femmes on the Thames), FUN Muzik (Beatdown), and Headfunk.

A Shejay who firmly believes that her tunes are the passport to her DJ'ing success, Jo's influences mainly come from following the London underground scene from the late 1980's. After presenting her own popular show on Unknown FM for two years, and taking a year out on maternity leave, Jo felt that joining the almighty Centreforce would give her more freedom to express and get creative with her music, which ranges from early electro and acid house up to more cutting edge deep, tech and soulful flava's!

Having worked as Shejay's "Promotions and Events Manager (UK : Europe)" for two years, Jo Devious successfully raised the profile of shejay within the UK and beyond and now works on a freelance basis as Bookings Assistant for the Shejay "Ladies First" tour. Jo has also worked with Fordshouse Promotions on the BIG Girls events and more recently with DJ Gerrad, co-promoting Beatdown at The Brixton Telegraph. This year will see Jo relaunch her promotions baby, Degenerates, which was born in 2001 to support some of the many neglected up and coming DJ's in London, so expect some Degenerates party madness this year!

As Jo's mastering and confidence of the beats increases, so too is her producing repetoire, with her incorporating her own jingles and productions into her DJ sets and radio shows.
