DJ Seeker

My journey started at 14, blending soul, hip-hop, and reggae into unique mashups as a bedroom DJ. One of my early highlights was playing Notting Hill Carnival with Main Attraction Sound, the crew I was part of. Fun fact—I went to school with MC Psycha back in the day!

As the acid house movement took over, I made the transition from bedroom DJ to the airwaves, joining Centreforce in 1989 at just 19. There were four of us—Corporation Dave, DJ Hugs, MC Scottie, and myself—known as The Corporation. Massive respect to Andy and the management for opening so many doors, giving us opportunities to play at legendary clubs like Echoes and The Pink Toothbrush, as well as some of the biggest outdoor raves, including Woodstock and Karma Sutra.

1989 was a big year—we even took the sound to Ibiza, playing in multiple clubs. My personal highlight? Smashing a set at Amnesia and a short set at Space. Around this time, I crossed paths with MC Psycha again as he joined the station too.

After holding down a residency at The Pit, an intimate underground club, I stepped away from music in ‘91. Fast forward to 2018, I made a comeback alongside DJ Hugs, which led to my return to Centreforce, thanks to a certain JC—big up, bro!

Though health issues slowed me down for a bit, I’m back doing what I love. Now, you can catch me every other Saturday from 8–10 PM alongside MC Psycha, keeping the vibe alive. From the early days, I’ve always loved playing a variation of sounds and creating live refixes.

Big thanks once again to Andy and now Danny (Master Pasha) for keeping Centreforce strong. It’s not just a little station—it’s a BIG station.

Ceeeentrefooooorrrrce!
