I’ve been broadcasting since 1991, with shows across pirate, commercial and national radio. Along the way, my podcast grew to more than 370 episodes and regularly ranked among the world’s Top 10 music podcasts.
My DJ journey began in 1993 after spending countless hours listening to pirate stations and I’ve been obsessed with underground house music ever since. My original influences include Rob Tissera, Sasha and Carl Cox. I’ve played some fantastic venues over the years, with highlights including the Music Factory, Leeds Warehouse, Properfest and Beyond the Baseline Festival.
My specialist genres are underground 90s house, nu-disco and also bass-driven house, although I equally enjoy playing sunset chill-out sessions and open-format without the cheese.
I’m available for clubs, bars, festivals, corporate events and selected private functions.
In 2023, I acquired DJWORX, one of the world’s leading DJ media brands. Since 2003, DJWORX has been a trusted source for DJ technology, reviews, news, opinion and advice for DJs of every level. Recent interviews include Pete Gooding, DMC World Champion JFB, Beatles Dub Club, El Figo and DJ Archie.
I promote events under the DJWORX banner, including thehouseworx – a series of sell-out events that celebrate both classic and upfront house.

Having a heritage going back to 2003 , DJWORX (formerly skratchworx) has been the go-to DJ gear resource for DJs of all styles and skills for over a decade. Founded by Mark Settle, and now edited by Paul Ranger, the DJWORX team has a collective knowledge base covering decades of DJing from the turntable and vinyl times through CDJs and laptops, right up to the finer points of MIDI mapping, streaming and iPad DJing.
We’re also a diverse bunch of DJs, and find ourselves quite happy working with all manner of music technology. This means that we have the right reviewer for the right product, and can uniquely offer multiple opinions in the same review.
