Danny Four Four

Danny Fourfour is an accomplished international DJ with more than 25 years behind the
decks, bringing his own Unique Vibe and blend of Classic, Deep, Gospel and Soulful
House, with a touch of Underground Garage.

His journey began in 1989/90, when, aged just 10, he was introduced to House and Rave
music by his older cousin Jamie, who introduced him to his vinyl collection and Technics.

From that moment, Danny was hooked. By the mid-to-late 1990s, Danny was immersed in
the House and Garage scene, developing his craft on vinyl and building an extensive record
collection.

A key influence throughout his early career was legendary UK Garage duo Tuff Jam, with
Karl “Tuff Enuff” Brown and Matt “Jam” Lamont becoming major inspirations and mentors.
Karl “Tuff Enuff” Brown later became Danny’s manager and agent, playing an important role
in the early development of his professional DJ career. Danny went on to establish himself on
the UK Garage circuit, including a residency with Garage Nation and appearances for Twice
As Nice and MC Kie’s promotions.

His musical influences span generations of House Music, with artists such as Kerri
Chandler, Masters At Work, Mood II Swing, MK, Jovonn, Booker T, Grant Nelson and
Victor Simonelli among those who have helped shape his sound and continue to inspire him
today.

In 2005, Danny moved to Barcelona, where he held residencies at W Barcelona, Hotel ME
and La Terrrazza, while regularly performing across the city’s biggest and most respected
clubs. He later became the exclusive Ministry of Sound partner for Spain, working on their
20th Anniversary World Tour and performing internationally as one of their World Tour DJs,
working alongside and sharing stages with some of the biggest DJs in the world.
Today, Danny hosts the Forward Motion radio show on Centreforce 883, every Monday
evening from 6–8pm, continuing to share his passion for quality House Music with listeners
and dancefloors alike. He is incredibly thankful to be part of such an iconic station as
Centreforce, while also regularly performing at the world-class Forward Motion events and
being part of such an amazing House Music community and family.
Always keen to break new music while revisiting those forgotten classics, Danny brings
together the old and the new, creating a sound that is soulful, energetic and unmistakably his
own Unique Vibe.
