DJ Avero began his career in 1991, playing music at small events before securing his first residency at Pacha Tenerife in 1993.
Since then, he has built a solid career closely linked to the evolution of electronic music in the Canary Islands. His passion for vinyl, deep musical knowledge and ability to connect different generations have turned his sets into energetic journeys through house, breakbeat and the sounds that shaped the rave culture of the 1990s.
Born and raised in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Avero has shared the decks with renowned national and international artists, always proudly representing the musical identity and history of the islands. More than three decades after he first started out, he continues to bring the same passion to every set, keeping alive the spirit of an era that changed dance music forever.
As a co-founder of The Rave Kulture alongside DJ Jonay, he has helped establish their events as standout dates on the old-skool circuit. The collective has also built a close relationship with Centreforce Radio, one of the world’s leading stations for the genre, regularly taking part in its events and hosting a monthly show on the legendary UK station.
