Jamie started DJ-ing in 1987 at the tender age of 17, doing the pub scene in his hometown of Barnet, eventually picking up what turned in to an 18 year residency in The Dandylion in High Barnet.
During this time he was also playing regularly in London clubs, such as Samantha’s, Hombre’s and Browns.
During the late 90’s and early 2000’s Jamie had residencies in North London pub / clubs playing UK garage and house.
Jamie’s early musical roots lay with soul music, but he has also had a keen interest in the more uptempo soulful house, nu-disco and disco re-edit genres.
He is involved in Summer Soulstice, one of the UK’s largest charity soul events which attracts 5000 party revellers annually. He also puts on his own soul / soulful House events in the North London and Essex area.
Jamie did a weekly internet radio show on ‘House Music Radio’, for a couple of years, before being asked to join Centreforce, where he now enjoys his weekly Sunday show of nearly 3 years.
