Background

Leon aka Link LDN was born and raised in West London in the heart of Notting Hill, the home of Notting Hill Carnival. Both of his parents regularly listened to both ‘House’ and ‘Drum n Bass’ music; in fact, his Father was a Drum n Bass/Jungle DJ, which spurred Leon to want to become a DJ himself. Leon chose the name Link LDN as his stage name and began his career as a DJ six years ago. In 2020 Link LDN’s Mother decided to take a chance and enter him in the ‘Time Off Festival’ Breakthrough DJ Competition which was run by Time Off Festival, who partnered with the mighty Centreforce 88.3 DAB Radio.

The aim of the DJ competition was to help launch careers and significantly boost the profiles of young DJs aged 18-25 in the UK. The competition lasted approximately one year, and Link LDN, with his incredible talent, mixing skill, and technical ability, was lucky enough to make it to the final, ending up in third place.

Link LDN has since gone on to join Centreforce 88.3 DAB radio, where he has his own Thursday evening show from 10.00 p.m to midnight. He puts out a fantastic vibe and if by any chance you miss any of his shows, then make sure you catch up via his Mix-Cloud account. Link LDN enjoys playing Deep, Tech, Minimal and Underground ‘House’ music. During his career, he has been influenced by underground ‘House’ music events such as Audiowhore, Siesta, The asylum and Back 2 Back Sessions.

More recently, Link LDN has gone on to promote his event, which he named ‘Deviant.’

You do not want to miss Link LDN in action, he certainly gets the music pumping and the dance floor packed from the beginning to the end of his sets, leaving you wanting more. Link LDN has undoubtedly earned his place in the industry with all his hard work, which has well and truly paid off with his excellent approach to the music he plays.
