First and foremost DJ AviT is a huge music lover! Music is and always will be in his DNA.
1989 is where it all started for AviT, Acid House raves at Astoria nightclub. Then the nights started morphing into hardcore music.
AviT’s entry into the music industry was via the back door of the infamous Record Basement shop in Reading. Running records along the South West coast including venues such as Brunel Rooms in Swindon and Gold Diggers Nightclub in Chippenham, where he made sure the ravers were getting the latest upcoming tracks and beats. Any weekends off AviT would be raving alongside the Orange Crew in London’s infamous nightclubs. His raving continued right up until 1994 where he could no longer keep up the pace and decided to try something new but something that would still keep him involved with what he loved, music! (DJ-ing at home)
Fast-forward to 2013 & with a move to the other side of the world, Perth Australia. AviT took a stance behind the decks as an opportunity to play house music in Perth City Centre arose. Cutting his teeth in the early scene of tech house supporting international artists such as Leftwing and Kody.
In 2016 & the urge to play old-skool rave music was calling! This was the start of a new underground music scene in Perth Australia and SOS Partys was born.
From 2016 to 2019 SOS staged some of the biggest old-skool artists alongside Resident DJs AviT and Greg Packer these artists included Slipmatt, Dream Frequency with Debbie Sharp, Liquid famed for his track Sweet Harmony, Mix Factory’s very own Mark XTC and DJ Welly. SOS Partys went out with a bang in 2019 climaxing in Ibiza for a week-long party at Ibiza Rocks hotel. An SOS Aussie pool party was held with AviT, DJ Faydz, K-Klass and Slipmatt.
The end of 2020 and a chance conversation with Perth’s percussionist Marky Mark ignited AviT’s relationship with CentreForce Radio. Mark introduced AviT to Centreforce DJ Alex Little and the rest they say is history, AviT’s anthems was born on boxing day 2021. As a result of this CentreForce international and the Southern Hemisphere 883 Family was created.
